What to do while doing your 10 hour break.

I go home for my ten hour breaks and weekends since I'm a local driver. But when I was OTR I'd go for a run. Explore the surrounding area. I busted out the good ol' skateboard from time to time.

 

Now the swift pilots will be blowing by us using the left turn lane for a passing lane in airplanes!

 

Who can sleep for 10 years straight

I had my Own Truck (1997 KW, T600) back in 1998. Back then I was getting 98CPM (empty & Loaded) How is it that O/O's get "One buck" per Mile these days..?? Whats your NET take home income...??

Put nickles in the red lines of all the jerks parked at the fuel island. Also poop in a paper bag stick it under the sleeper of the jerks parked at the fuel islands, for the gift that keeps on giving, There's just so much fun you can have for 10 hours.

Go inside and count all the drivers that learned to drive on uncle jebbs farm when they were 3 years old.

Or you could sleep. Back in the day they used to complain about our ThermoKings, I think the APU's are more obnoxious.
