I am not telling him to quit, just that he has options... There are good companies that will hire him IF HE does quit, like rohel, falcon etc.
I do not think he should quit either, He should get what is promised to him..
What to do?

I Drove for my father's company for three years, and been with my curent
company for four+ years, i have never quit a company because i was ****** off... I never told him to quit, i was giving him ideas of what he could do to get home. -
Red's right. There IS a line that shouldn't be crossed. You have to decide where that line is for you personally. However, don't let this go too far. You may screw up your future driving job prospects in the short run.
You sound just like me back in the day. If I were sitting where you are now way back in 1995, I'd be cleanin' 'er out. Today I'd play it smart, though. Years tend to do that to people. I've not "gone soft", I'm just more mature about these sorts of things.
Whatever you have going on at home will just have to wait if you want to stay employed at a good (?) company like Schneider. And staying employed is exactly what you want for now. -
I understand your flustration, first you need to let those at home know that in trucking to expect you home when they see you pull in the drive way. You are getting home so that is a plus, dont get down but DO request that you get home and be happy if you get there within that week. You dont have to lay down and be run over, just navigate the waters carefuly.....if the person your dealing with is not doing what they are supposed to do , go up the ladder eventually you will find someone who will listen and can help......if all else fails sign on here and just rant and rave, at least you wont have so much stress!

Im not even thinking of quiting. I just want your (much apreciated feed back). Schneider is a good company at least I think so. The school was
second to none from what I here. I do what I say im going to do.
Mabe I expect the same from a employer. I know the job of the stl
isnt easy.
I am posting frustations here that I am not posting on qualcom. -
stick with it man. expect this to happen since you are new to trucking. it will happen again and maybe again. the best way to stop this is prove yourself as a good employee and someone they can count on. in a few months they relize this and will take care of you nicely, by getting you home on time. your 29 hr break was illegal. it is mandatory 34 hrs no matter what. if you would have been caught by dot they would have fined you and shut you down right there for 10 hrs at least maybe even 34. thats money out of your pocket. i know its hard to do but just chill and vent here and smile and play there game for right now. it does get better, i promise. hang in there man.
