Freightliner.Good trucks to work with. But what I`d like to have is a KW 900 with a big apartment sleeper on it to drive around in the hammer lane about 59mph and p#*s 4wheelers off.:usa2: :smt025

I've driven a bunch of different trucks. I'll posit that you aren't referring to the driveline(which can be spec'd an infinite number of ways), but how the whole truck feels to you in general.

First Place: KW900L with full glass(sunroof and 6 sleeper windows) on anything up to a 72". (The 86" sleepers are just too much room for me, but I do like the open, airy feel of a KW with all the windows.)

Second Place: Kind of a tie. I had one of the first VN610's and it was great in handling, ride and room. However, the new Volvo's, in my experience, are mass-produced garbage. Tie between a current VN and an IH 92/93/9400 with anything up to a 72".

Third Place: Pete 379(long or snub-nose). Not much experience with these, so I'll give it 3rd by a tiny margin. I dig the looks, and if I get some miles on one and like it, I might just give it 2nd.

R Model or RD Mack with all Mack specs. Second choice would be a Louieville ford with Cummins power. I loved both of those trucks, it's a shame they stopped making them.

International 9900ix Eagle 600 ISX Cummins, 18 spd, 72" sleeper. Looks nice, not like everything else at the truckstop lot. Relatively quiet once I fixed all the rattles and squeaks. Superb ride. Decent stereo. A little too much hard plastic in the cab, though...

Well I will probley P.O. alot. I like them all. I'm not that big of a fan of the Volvos, but I only driven one and it was the small cab truck which I did hate.

I have driven Petes, Frieghtliners, KW's, AutoCar, and a GMC General DumpTruck. I drove 2 COE, and rest Conv.

If I was to start a Company, I would want the Mack Rawhide as the Company Truck. Why? Cause more companies has the Frieghtliner, KW, Petes and International as their Compay Trucks, I want to be different.

I like any truck with a work station! Especially if you're solo. A Volvo isn't the only one nowadays. Pete is getting into the market and even FL. I do like the couch in a few KW's but having the bed that folds into a table reminds me of camping. Good feeling to have when you're out in the wild! :mwink:
