Thank you. I am working on Hazmat now. Had it in the past so should be no problem. Since Charlotte is not Bulk OC do you think they would require me to move? I am hoping to go OTR on the tankers.

I doubt it. I park in Dallas and that is not a bulk OC. If they have no more need for Bulk drivers in Charlotte they simply will not hire you.

Hi everyone..was wondering if anybody could shed some light/ specifics of the pre work screen for Schneider bulk division?

Iam very interested in joining Schneiders bulk division; however I'm nervous to go all the way to Houston just to be sent back home. I have one year otr flat bed experience, but have not been working for 8 months....and unfortunately put on some weight(50lbs?).....I currently weigh about 285 at 6'1" and not in the best of shape; I get winded fairly easily.

I have heard that a number of people get sent home out of every class on day one for failing the pre work screen; mostly because of heart rate being to high.

Again.....just looking for specifics about the test and any advice, tips and/or hints you might have.

Thank you in advance for your time and any knowledge/advice ;)

you will be lifting weight for up to 60 lbs....3times and you will be asked to climb up to the tank and walk along the catwalk to check your domlid.Just breath normaly and you will be fine.
In our group ,just one was sent homefor height on top of the tank.
    Good luck

Thank you PALOU for your response.

What did you mean by one person was "sent home for height on top of the tank" ?
