Some mechanics left grease fingerprints on the hood of my truck, which is white. What can I use to remove it without damaging the paint?

Sounds weird but use a little bit of your own diesel or green soap

####, Comet??? that scouring powder? Dish detergent like Dawn or Joy are great at breaking down grease. GoJo without the pummice will work as well. Simple Green is a great degreaser, is environmentally safe and won't harm your paint.

Is there no clear coat? If you've tried simple green and a rag use a Mr Clean magic eraser.
