So you don't have the experience I am looking for in an experienced O/O opinion. Thanks for your input, but I am looking for real world examples of what has worked best for others in the past.

Thanks JK, that's the info I'm looking for. Still interested in the numbers off a Pete 387. I learned in Freightshakers so I got absolutely nothing against them, but I do love the Petes. But if it's a big difference, I gotta make more $$$

Anything is better than that darn barn door I'm currently pushing through the air LOL!

There are three factors that figure into how much profit you make. Fuel mileage is one. Another is purchase price and another is maintenance, repairs, downtime. I would look into the third very closely.

They said much the same thing when the "short nose" trucks first came out. If there is a fuel savings to be had, you can bet that the company drivers will be in these as soon as they are released.

Personally, I like the looks of it, but then, I lean more toward function than aesthetics.

There is NO MIRACLE truck that's going to magically increase your GROSS income , pick the truck you want LOOKS WISE as that seems to be a factor and spec it for the best fuel economy
