Let's see...
Clerk at a "dime store." (I was 14. That was 1974...)
Grocery bagger.
Radio DJ (very small town, but that's where I learned about the Kingston Trio.)
Circus Clown (yes, a clown with the makeup, big shoes, and everything...three years. (I learned to juggle while playing the records at the radio station!)
Western Show Performer (I rode a donkey in the show!)
Donkey Ball Manager/Driver in the New England area. In the winter! I thought 40 degrees was warm! I drove a single axle straight truck with ten donkeys. They were all my friends. I lived with them for three months, mostly in Maine. (not connected to the Western Show)
An audio technician at a small theme park.
A lighting technician at the same theme park.
An audio/visual technician at a MAJOR theme park/resort. (Disney)
An audio/visual clerk at a major university extension school (UCLA.) (I moved to California for a year in 1994, just in time for the Northridge earthquake!)
A taxi cab driver. (Back in Florida.)
A show technician at the major theme park mentioned before.
A technician scheduler at a high end audio/visual company in Orlando.
Various other jobs at the same A/V company in Orlando. (Totaling nine years at the company.)
Now a registered student, starting in January, 2011, at Mid Florida Tech CDL school in Orlando.
I skipped a couple of jobs, including car sales and things like that. But due to family issues not being as much of a problem now, I'm going to drive a truck. It's what I've wanted to do since I don't know when...
I start school on January 13, 2011.
I can't wait! -

After all that, I bought an old dryland farm in SW Colorado, and spent ten years finishing my half built house and shop, reclaiming the burned over homesite (old wildfire), and hanging around. The crappy economy took a big chunk of my savings, and earning anything on what's left is a casino game. I don't expect to see any big improvement for a good long time.
I'm enrolled in CDL school starting in January, and have started sending out pre-apps to see if anyone will even talk to me after ten years of retirement. If not, I'll grub around and see what else I can find. I'm pretty much figuring that Social Security and Medicare will be bust by the time I can draw anything, and that I'll be left to my own devices. -

I worked in lawn service sense I was 15. Did roofing and framing houses on the side during the winter when the lawn service was down and no customers needed leaves removed from their yards. Worked across the street for a company contracted by GM for a while. Wasn't bad. Worked as a crew hand/driver for a helicopter application company which didn't last long because the pay was horrible and they wanted me to stay gone for 8 full months out of the year being less than 100 miles from the house stuck in a hotel room most of the time due to weather then back to lawn service and then trucking. That's just a quik recap not stating my involvment in trucking prior to starting my driving career.

My dad was the manager of a parts warehouse, and ran multiple parts stores before getting tired of the public and buying his truck. He says it was the best decision he ever made.
