We have tried a couple teams over the years. Our operation is just not set up for teams...almost no drop & hook, 500 mi avg loh, lots of oversize. Long story short, teams might be able to get 4K miles.

We saw about the milage with teams pulling flat at my last company. Miles turn out more like a super-single than a team.

Roger... also FBing is alot different than dryvan..aka..home most weekends, if you want...no shippers/receivers open on weekends, for the most part and mostly short hauls,,that is why team cant make the money doing FB that they can DryVan or Reefer... Oh well

Not too bad, making the switch to eLogs. Got about 160 on them now, keeping mebusy that's for sure. Its funny because the drivers are taking to them faster than the office staff.

It's not the fact that I can't cheat, and from what elogs drivers have told me there are still small ways to cheat. I dislike mega carriers with their powerful political lobbies pushing thru anti competitive regs. It's ridiculous the onerous regulations in the one size fire all mold of elogs that responsible safe drivers who can manage well enough themselves get lumped in with all the babies who allow companies to walk all over them and break the law. There's something bad wrong when most people are ok with more nanny state bs. They'll be putting mileage meters in cars for tax by the mile schemes before too many years. You cant fly on an airplane or go to an NFL game without being frisked, and groped like a common criminal anymore. The 4th amendment doesn't exist. So you welcome elogs and think its great, well 10 or 15 years from now when they've sovietized the entire society don't complain..

    BigJohn54 Thanks this.
