So when they turned you around , and sent you back to where you started , you were not wasting time ?

There's a petro on the West Plains 20 miles west of Spokane. There's a flying J in Spokane Valley. There's a flying J across the street from the loves in Post Falls. Plenty of options so no excuse to tackle that pass without a full tank. If Swift has a policy where you can only fuel at loves them that's what you're going to have to do and just notify them about the 2 mile long wait. You aren't looking at this long term. That dac report is more important then your current job or the paycheck you'll get next week. If you keep making decisions using short term thinking you are going to be out of a job in no time flat.

So 6 hours of drive time was well spent deadheading 150 mile , just to be turned around to go back where you started ? Now you have a max of 5 hours on your 11. If you can not under stand this , there is no hope for you ...

Considering I was out of hours on my 14 by that point it didn't matter a whole hell of a lot, know what I mean?

Never abandon a load. We all know that and there is no point going over all the reasons why or why not.

LAdy with busted windshield. Get pictures any way you can. I would not be surprised if she spent time talking to your Safety boss about this. Somewhere is a rattlesnake coiled up ready to strike you where it hurts really bad. I don't know even where to begin I do know that this is something I don't need to deal with a 100 foot pole on this can of rattlers. She's gone. Fine. You know next time to grab picture or video. Sometimes people do really crazy stuff that simply refuses to make sense,

Without giving you a hard time excessively, Fuel is life. Fuel is freedom, Fuel is everything. Get fuel. Always.

You broke one of my rules regarding winter running, Fuel at half tanks or better. Always. Fuel fuel fuel. And one more time so you remember me. F U E L!!!!

Bobtailing empty on snow and ice? Are you kidding? You will get stuck so fast. It is not a personal attack or any kind of negative slant about your skills. It is very basic physics of Newton's whose Laws sit next to that of God's Laws any day of the week. If you had gone bobtail, you would most certainly have gotten stuck. And for what?

Circling back to your Load. Loads stay on your 5th wheel. I know I promised not to say anything. Much. Whatever load you have on there stays on that 5th wheel until empty.

Fix that bunk heater. You might not need it today or yesterday but that was a option not open to you when you did finally consider it, briefly. This winter has been a exceptional one to use a big word. This is not a forgiving winter. People have died for less.

Your qualcomm is everything when you are in trouble like that. Start typing.

As far as the paragraph dedciated to the woman and her loss of freedom should she be caught by the Law, I don't see anything at the moment. Poor thing. Poor Waif. Makes me cry.

She knows better. How can you let yourself be so stupid over a few dollars expense each month? Put down the gold plated phone a while and pay your #### insurance like every one else Lady.

As far as everything else... I'll leave it. I assume that you made it through this adventure. Fine. The next one is not too far off considering where you are and the time of the year.

    Enjoy! **Smile
