Not really, the real purpose of an e log is to monitor driving time. Nothing wrong with the ability to edit on duty time to off duty time if you didn't move or do any actual "work".
What would u have done!!!!!!!!

I agree completely, I am in and out of the truck so many times in a night I forget to put myself off duty when I bump a dock. If it were not for that edit button I would never get any work done!pattyj Thanks this.

A tire thumper has more than one use!!
x#1, Working Class Patriot and AfterShock Thank this. -
Bingo. It's as simple as this folks. How long is it okay to sit in front of the fuel island? As long as it takes the person behind you to pump. If you come out and there aren't hoses in the truck behind you, you've taken too longx#1 Thanks this.

Sorry to say Schneider wont do a thing to him. Because thats there policy. If your on your break and you move your truck you can get in trouble no matter what. but its usually the new drivers who follow that guideline.

I have posted prior to this that violence is going to start taking place with all these numbskulls/self absorbed drivers in our industry.I have witnessed many an episode at the pumps over the years due to fuel pump blocking and it is going to get worse.
I am normally laid back but fuel pump blocking sets me off.I control it.MANY can not and do not.I always approach the pump blocker and inquire, generally asking what is wrong,or can i help,do they need jumping off, etc.only a few times have things escalated to almost exchanging blows.kick my arse,if that's how it goes/i kick yours perhaps. my attitude will not change-
move your #$%@! truck forward.BobcatVolvo Thanks this. -
I posted about being approached about pulling forward at the fuel island. The only thing was I was still fueling.
postmandav, Cetane+ and bergy Thank this. -
so what made it appear that you were blocking the pumps to be approached in the first place? those i approach to inquire are blocking the pumps,no hoses in the tanks,no question as to what is going on and are clearly just being as the OP described.
i don't just approach w/o sufficient reason.we both know what is involved w/actual pump blockers.if drivers continue to allow this nonsense to happen, those that block the pumps will continue to do it.I like that the OP had a few others with her as they questioned the pump blocking driver, and a female should have backup.
NO.actually, she should never have had to ask the idiot to move. -
I have no clue what this guy's problem was. I had both hoses in my tanks. He could see I was fueling and he came up and told me I was taking too long and pull forward. I basically told him to go back to his truck and wait until I finished.Cetane+ Thanks this.

I do hope that he got the message in the proper manner.here's hoping that you told him to kiss off. we deal w/oddness daily and you had your shot of it that day it seems.just thinking that it was humorous after the fact for you however.
