What would you charge?

    $570 minus insurance ,tags , road tax , wear and tear etc...............

    and yes a towing service would charge at least 35-75%more

    I say I would charge him a dollar fifty per mile. seems fair to me.

    Hmm, well I did eventually figure out what to charge. I managed to find a rate from a tow company that was about $700 or so. Some what less than this seems fair.

    Thanks for al the input.

    You should remember though, the tow truck would not have taken the trailer where it needed to be, and probably would have charged storage if taken to their place of business. Just for future reference.
