Re the DAC question, I know I have wondered if they have the same thing in Canada, or do they have another reporting system?

 

Defiantly list the job and the accident or like others have said it is a felony to falsify an application so if it shows up later it could be bad news all the way around.

 

As far as I know, many of the Canadian based companies use the same USIS services, since the legal requirements and verifications between the two countries are so similar. Mexico does not do much in the way of background checks or enforcement on their drivers, so the companies have little incentive to use the services. This may change in the future, but even then it won't affect companies there that don't do cross border work.

 

I didn't see any Mexican trucker hater type of words or meaning in Burkys post. Looked to be a legit question to me. For that matter I thought the same things he posted when I was reading your original up there. It says you're in Mexico.... I figured you were in Mexico...

 

Thanks, Burky! Can I follow that with another question? Do you think USIS is also used by Canadian based companies that do not cross the border, too? Or is it used pretty much across-the-board as it is down here in the States...
