And for that I am truly glad.
I guess with it being the first brand new truck I ever bought in my life, and the worst truck of my life, it just left a really bitter taste in my mouth that is there forever. I really am glad though for you and the others who have a good cummins. I probably just got a lemon...but it really sucks being the first new truck I ever bought...but what was the final straw was when cummins finally called me back, and said that I was working it too hard holding it to the floor on hills. I snapped that day, and the generally very calm and cool me, exploded into a long and loud string of curse words at that idiot.

 

I seldom hold my foot to the floor with this one. I find the gear it likes to do about 1500RPM with about half a pedal left and keep it there on big hills. Fan switch on just to keep the oil below 240°.

 

Pulling 180k lbs up a 20 plus percent grade, that would not work.

 

I woulda stole money from my mother's purse to pay for some Star Wars figurines. Those action figures from the 1970's are worth a fortune.

 

Probably would of been better off buying a crap ton of Apple Stock when it dirt cheap.
