That's the way I try to look at things as well, that's why I have those two places in my mind that I would try working for, my question is how do you interest an employer in your resume without making the decision to go there.

Of course they need to be interested in you;and if so,simply do email correspondence with them occasionally asking them questions-any kind- about their company. I have reps from three different companies sending me "dirty" jokes occasionally as we have become -in their minds (to my dismay) Internet friends.

Of course this may not work with the "Mega Carriers.":biggrin_2559:

You'll never see me in any Mega fleet truck, so no worries there!

Mawson and Mawson Kirk truck line Kaplan all steel haulers and mostly all covered wagons which is the only way to haul iron in my opinion

I would like a Conestoga, and i know not many places have them but man they are nice...

where I work will eventually have all Conestoga trailers, they just ordered a few more...

You know, Spacetrucker, those places you listed I run into all of the time in pittsburgh and i always wonder how their drivers are doing, as well as a few other local steel hauling outfits.

Where I work they have Conestoga's,dry box, flat and steps with RGN's. I am NOT after a recruiting bonus, you will never have to mention my name. But if you want a numba I will PM it to you. Only downside is..You would have to move to the S MN area.

This is a good question because I do not know what I want. I just want a small company that will train/treat me right and let me be solo. I can do van/reefer or flats.
