anything happen to the relay driver?

For you original queation I would have grabbed whatever shuteye I could until I had to leave. If I got a good "night" of sleep the day before, a nap will usually hold me over another 8 hours or so. I only start to get fatigued when you start stacking those 8/2 split naps for 3+ days in a row.
