I'm currently in a job I can't wait to quit. I haven't been at this one long enough to worry about a reference, but I am and will be sticking it to them, when I quit Friday without notice. I can't wait to walk into my boss's office and let him know I'm leaving and why I'm leaving. Fortunately they will be handing me my last check the day I leave. Always have a back up plan.

And...when you are fortunate enough maybe to find the job that you could possibly stay on til you are able to retire , and they do a background check and find out that you quit a job without notice , Don't be surprised if that "dream job" opportunity slips away. If you are on the pay-roll for only 15 minutes , you're there long enough to worry about a future reference.....people hire people for all kinds of reasons....the potential employee has the required experience , the potential employee comes highly recommended by another employee they trust , the potential employee has a good stable work history......but they won't hire a person that has walked off of the job without notice.....the really good companies will never give you a second look....not trying to preach to you , or act like a know-it-all....but your profile says student...you're just starting a career here. Just like building and maintaining a good credit history....a good stable work history is very important in getting and keeping a really good job in trucking...think before you act....."sticking it to them" may make you feel better....but in the great scheme of things it could really come back on you in a bad way....Good luck....

Thanks for the tip, just put in a notice. He did not take it well. Sweet sweet victory of screwing someone that has screwed me for months.
