I'm planning to find the slightest thing wrong that I can, and park it. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
What would you do?

Regulations are pretty clear.White_Knuckle_Newbie and Djfan Thank this. -
So, I feel like I'm not being clear.
I am documenting everything that I can. I am going to go to the yard tomorrow and find anything I can to park it. I will find something. I feel like I'm being screwed, and getting "rookied" by them.
Any advice on what to do next? I don't just have a dozen or so jobs to walk down the street into. -
It is your right AND responsibility to refuse unsafe work. You can't just play ignorant and say you didn't know. You will be held just as accountable as your boss if someone were to get killed or injured because your trailer fell off. I've been the new guy more than once in my life. Even now I'd rather get fired than have to deal with the consequences of "what if"

If you aren't satisfied that the vehicle is safe to operate, you don't operate it. Jobs are a dime a dozen, but you only have one life. Lose your CDL or get yourself locked up due to a malfunction on the road and you won't have this job...or any other in this industry for that matter.
Ask yourself if you'd want that truck on the road next to your wife & kids in the condition it is in. If not, don't drive it near somebody else's wife & kids. If you lose this job after refusing to drive a dangerous vehicle, there will be another one. If you lose this job following a wreck because you drove the dangerous vehicle, that next job will be a heck of a lot harder to find.Mudguppy and White_Knuckle_Newbie Thank this. -
Especially trucking jobs. Decent ones anyway -
Go to a temp agency and get some work in a warehouse or get into the trades. Not sure what your background is.
