You must be looking at the wrong pic. It's definitely a straight truck. Prolly a 26 footer

If you are not on a phone, it's not too hard to tell. The horizontal mount refer above the cab is the biggest clue for me.

You know most of the time your advice is good and sound. However sometimes your advice is NOT. You have a bad habit of advising drivers to be untruthful at a time when they need to be just to the opposite and now this. Advising a driver to rip another drivers mirrors off puts you in the same category as that dang truck blocking the dock. When will people learn you are not sitting in a truck stop while posting in these boards. I have a serious doubt the owner of this website wants their bandwidth used to advise someone to violate the #### law. If I were a moderator I would have removed that entire post!

This is the real world. Blocking that door can cost the other driver a few hundred dollars that he won't make on his next paycheck because he may miss his next load or his Elog may not allow for whatever appointment time that next load is scheduled for. A simple act of laziness or being inconsiderate can start a chain reaction that causes serious problems for someone else; not unlike the "butterfly effect." According to Edward Lorenz, the flutter of a butterfly' wings across the ocean could cause a tornado in the U.S.

I don't know about you guys but there isn't a problem, he has less than a foot on the far side backing up which is a lot of room to back it up, as I said the dock plate won't be centered on the truck - maybe off by 18 inches- but who cares because a good forklift driver won't have an issue loading that truck all the way to the back.

It's simple. If ya can't fit...wait. Don't put your career, your truck, or your load in jeopardy. If ya can fit, put it on. What's the issue?

Well, if the knucklehead in the straight truck DID get his driver side mirrors torn off, maybe then he'd learn what can happen when you don't park like you have some sense.

Yeah Mack but it sounds like the place would be all over the guy when he hit the mirror, so it may be better to just pull it in and then put the truck in the slot. It isn't like backing a trailer, this is really an easy dock to get into and out of.
