Hey kid you can't sit anyway at that joint when your done at the dock you gotta get out because other trucks have been waiting for hours. Nowhere in the place to park for any length of time you can barely get enough time to slide your tandems.
I know your young and you think you got all the answers but you don't.
What would you do

If you have no choice but to move and you’re completely out of hours, just short of 8/2 split, can’t you move under the premise of finding a “safe haven” and move to your terminal, which would be your closest safe haven?
tommymonza and NavigatorWife Thank this. -
Lol
You expect me to believe the place that sits you in the door for 7 hours is going to chase you out the instant that light turns green? I bet they are slow with the paperwork as well. One trick is to sit in the sleeper after the light is green for a while.
And if you want to get upset because I suggested you should learn how to manage your time better, that's very childish of you. If you feel you really are managing your hours to the best of your ability then don't come crying saying you couldn't make any money since you spent so much time waiting for the elog to say you may drive.
You are right, I am young, and I do not have all the answers. I have, however, figured out how to maximize productivity under the current regulations. All I was suggesting was you can do the same. Instead, you have a 7 hour and change break, a violation driving when out of hours, and now you have to complete at least another 8 hours sitting doing nothing. Enjoy watching that timer, young grasshopper!shogun, Just passing by, wore out and 3 others Thank this. -

For someone who maximizes his productivity sure lives and posts alot in this forum. What's your post count compared to mine? You must do a ton of sitting around not making any money. -
I never end up taking 15 hours or more to deliver a load. I hope you get something for detention.
What does post count have to do with anything? If you want to go that route, i could counter with having more thanks per post than you. But in all honesty, i dont really care about those counters. I mostly enjoy the topics discussed around here and try to offer advice. Perhaps the best advice for you is simply.."sucks to be you."OCC, PPLC, Just passing by and 3 others Thank this. -
By the looks of your post times it looks like you could of eased of the dock staying under 5mph so don't trip the elog sat for about 15minutes and got you a 8/2 split.
NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
