What would you do

Obviously myself and a handful of other members made the mistake of "what would you do" as asking for advice. We obviously don't know your exact situation for this exact shipper and how they cattle prod you out of that dock only after holding you hostage for 7 hours but not 8. Perhaps this is just more of a rant on your part about how the world seems to constantly be dumping on you.

Where at? Nowhere to sit at this place not even a place to stage to wait for a dock you just pull in front of trailers and keep moving when someone is hooking one.

The yard jockey told me he has never seen anything like today how busy it was.

 

You read that as a complaint? It was intended as an informative sentence simply stating that happens sometimes when you get sick. If I remember correctly, I went on to state everyone should at least quickly glance at their excrement in order to see if it all came out alright, to which you replied you do this practise also.

Anywhere in the yard or street all you had to do was stay behind the wheel so you could move back and forth to stay out of drivers way .
Heck even on the steet and put your four ways on for 15minutes.

 

After 1/2 or hour I would hit sleeper birth. They don’t pay you squat hourly sitting there anyways. You’ll get hourly pay regardless. I do that on a backhaul. I’ll hit off duty if it’s taking a minute. You’d only have to wait 2 more hours for your hours to drive and shut down whenever you please. Gotta stop following the rules by the book sometimes.

I can see the angst quickly growing. I love it. Wonder what tomorrow will bring. Long line at fuel pump cause you to have to reschedule appointment? Ruined week down to 1500 miles?
