I live in California. Clearly you were in wrong in this situation as you were driving over 55 mph, which, since it's illegal where I live, must be illegal and dangerous in every other place. Your reckless behavior endangers us all.

 

Try not to let it get you down other wise you'll go to pieces just count to 10, just accept that there are some moron's out there that will test your limits however when you meet all the decent drivers it makes up for it.

 

I have driven Texas more than any other states, using the shoulder is a very common thing, trucks and cars are doing it all the time.

 

Running the 2 lane in Texas. Hold your lane and your speed until you come to a passing zone. Grab the shoulder in the passing zone. The other truck should come around you. Should. If he doesn't, do not worry about him. When the passing ends, come back into the lane.

Done every day on the Texas two lane. Even the 4s do it.

 

Because you're a self-centered person who only cares about you, and don't understand why anyone would have the gall to go out of their way to be polite and courteous to another since you wouldn't dream of ever doing that yourself? It's all about you, and if you are restricted EVERYBODY ELSE just needs to suck it up and deal with it, because YOU'RE special and everybody else just sucks and is unworthy of your time or trouble.
