More like a overwork penalty. Highly doubt they are going under. I have heard in past they have had problems with running their drivers 7 days a week with out a 34.

there is no law against running over 7 days with out a 34, the rules are
11 driving 3 on duty not driving, 70 in 8 days
As long as you dont go over this you can drive everyday, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, I dont care for CR. England , so If they go under, I wouldnt lose any sleep, just dout it will happen anytime in the near future

CR England logistics is ranked as the #5 logistics company in the U.S.

I doubt they are concerned about a shutdown of the trucking division.

Wouldn't hurt my feelings in the least....if the Wall Street 99'ers took em down :biggrin_2559:

talked to a cr england driver.....according to him, the side of their computers that control their company drivers crashed and they could not track anything.....apparently they are back up and running.

It's likely a problem with the computer system. The majority of drivers are dumb and would be lost without a EOBR. Anyhow, I'm at one of the hotels in Burns Harbor. I couldn't tell you what the issue is as I just came off a weeks vacation.

I don't know where you got this information from, but there's no regs that force you to do a 34 hour reset.

Most of you know this, but obviously, a few do not: there is no regulation anywhere, that requires a driver to take a 34 hour restart. Although at times, it may be desirable to do so, it is never required. I don't know where this keeps coming from. As long as you don't drive over 11 a work period or work more than 70 hours in 8 days, you are ok. It is called by many drivers as "running on the recap".
