    seriously, guys looking for real advice here.
    Looking at a truck
    '97 Pete exh
    120k on crate motor(N14), trans and 1 rear.
    336gears 13sp. 270 wb. All suspension, air bags, and bushings done when motor put in
    7" straights 36" bunk paint one yr old. Really nice overall truck
    What do you guys think it is worth? Probably a solid 9 on a scale of 1to 10

    Yes it was a crate motor and tranny. Done in 2013 but only 122k ago. Receipts on all suspension work as well. Everything done at Peterbilt.

    Waaaaay more than that. I'm just not sure. I'm looking to trade my numbered 359. I'm asking 80k for mine so don't want to cut myself short.

    No more than 60k. There are many in my area, all basically the same details. All from dealers. Check the reputation of the dealer and get a warranty. I have see a few that are in the 30's with the option to have a motor put in at a discount.

    The 379 sounds decent. That's a high dollar truck tho for current prices on equipment.
