what's needed for hauling coils???

    What mills are those? I've hauled that way out of Allegheny lludlum and us steel, but I pulled a covered wagon and always tossed two chains on and pulled outside.

    I used to haul coils out of southbend IN and Gary In usually around 45000lb I would load suicide and in doing so I always over chained. I never had a problem it should be mentioned that when hauling coils you should change your driving style no hard brakes or irratic steering movements.

    True, I was more trying to indicate the states are requiring it now. Doesn't Alabama require it for pick and or delivery in that state. (Not sure but I thought I read that on here somewhere)
