    Thanks... good to be back.

    But, not so.
Pulling a few feet ahead will not show you as off the property.
    GPS on the Qcom.

Try doing a loaded or mt call a quarter mile away.
The system will not recognize the location as being in the valid range.

I often get Qcom messages - like preplans - that come in when I am in sleeper or off-duty time.

If I had to log on-duty to accept the plan or reply to the simple message, that would totally hose my hours.

Is that really what Swift wants from us?
    Or the Feds?

If so, I'll play the game.
I'll either ignore the message until 8 hours later when I can get to on-duty status, or I'll go on-duty and work with the new 14 that I just started.

If we all do that it will hose the entire trucking industry.

    scottied67 Thanks this.

Every time we deny a load they send that to us. Normally it take more than 15 minutes to accept a load anyway, checking weather, area its headed to etc.

Steve, along with those new restrictions regarding on line, how about those new messages that we are getting every week about sending a new Safety message about what we observe. Thanks to another terminal that started them and others are thinking they are great. We see the same day in and day out. How many new ones can we come up with.

Supposedly Lewiston is one of the worst terminals for preventables right now. My DM got put on the safety committee for having a high rate in Lewiston... He also gets a lot of the newbies too... Of course this is all truck stop fodder, haven't heard it from the horses mouth.

I sent one in the first day our DM asked for one and haven't since.

I view it kinda like the infamous G.O.A.L. message fiasco......I leave it at that.

Sometimes it will and sometimes it won't. I did a loaded call at the Albuquerque terminal 1/2 mile away from the pallet place and it worked.
