What's the biggest P.O.S you've had to drive?

    How about wedging the thottle open then standing on the ruuning board going up a mountain cause you couldn't stand the heat in the cab? Those were the days!

    And how many times an hour could you expect the windshield wipers to be in sync? I used to keep myself awake counting the times per hour the wipers would hit the center of my Petes center divider at once!

    The holes in the floor was to send sunflower hulls to their final resting place.

    my pinky finger is still screwed up from them R models!! #### that hurt!! got it caught on the vent window several times a day

    I am kind of new to this board, and got to tell you, Real Truckers here. I see a lot of veteran truckers here. And your stories are OUTSTANDIING. Ive been driving 37 years, and just love the stories of a true truck driver. My dad was a truck driver, Uncle, truck driver, Brother truck driver, its in our blood. Thank You very Much guys.

    Another 5th wheel baby. (born on a 5th wheel into a family of truckers).

    Family get togethers were rare but when they did happen that is about all I heard were tales of three sisters and the virtues of a bean bag ashtray to ride atop the dog house of your cabover Cornbinder.

    I'm new. I have only driven an '08 ProStar and the '06 Century I'm assigned.
    The Tractor ABS light stays on. The check engine light stays on. It rides like a buckboard and squeaks and rattles like a rattlesnake.

    Right this minute the Flex pipe under my sleeper has broken.

    But the AC works, it starts every time and gets the loads down the road.
