Was out for a three month stretch while at a previous carrier. The entire summer, in fact. Funny thing is, I hardly noticed at the time because I was getting a string of good-paying runs. Of course, it's easy to pull stuff like that when you're single.

7 months. But I'm married to my team mate and the girls were in college. Heading back OTR in a couple weeks. Linehaul bores me to death.

Three months. That was when our trucks were faster and we went to amazing places. Having a nice 2500 mile run across the US with plenty of time to make the delivery and allowed to get unloaded early was like a vacation. Now we have slower trucks and go to Chicago and Jackson Mississippi so I try to go home more since those places suck. Plus there are times when I want to stay out longer but told I have to go home to fill out some important letter that was mailed to me.

57 days. As a rule I start getting a little punchy after about 15. I was actually looking for a load home at around day 28, but there were good loads to be had. Unfortunately they were going the wrong way. I wasn't gonna look a gift horse in the mouth.

I'm currently enduring my longest stay yet, October 1st to November 24th. Another month to go, it's a mental game for sure.

From beginning of December until August. It's when I started and I wanted to make $$$$$. Now I can't stand being more than 3 days on the road.

    6 months...
Stayed out four months then took a week off usually.

We could bank our days off up every 8 days out. I had almost 80 saved up.

Used a lot of em letting there truck sit in my driveway with no intention of returning.
Idled it down to E before returning.

Said I abandoned it on my dac.
    So bitter the ex's. XD
