Okay, its not a city but anywhere in Eastern New Jersey is a pain in the ###! Roads are ######, 4-wheeler drivers are completely clueless, careless and I usually want to ram a few just to make a point.

Atlanta can be a real challenge as well. And driver who has transversed the wonderful I-77 through that Appalachians with anything over a 40K in the box will attest to it being a highway where you pay close attention to EVERYTHING!

The diverging diamond in Springfield MO. They are also going to be constructing some in Kansas City.

They have some of those here in Indiana too. They put a new one in right here in town at exit 151 a couple years ago. It used to be a PIA but now it is a pretty smooth intersection. I thought it was a big waist redoing the ramps and all but it is actually pretty convenient now.

They were still working on the one in Springfield last time I was there. It didn't make any sense to me at that time. It may be more understandable now that they have it completed.

That is only in the state of New York. They mark a foot lower to accomadate for snow & ice build up in the winter......

And the only reason why I posted the state that does that is because we all know some new guy will see the above post, drive thru Maryland thinking that is the east coast.... See a 12' 9" bridge & think he can go under it.

I'm gonna start a seperate thread. I was reading on MSN the top 10 worst traffic cities and just saw this prior to posting it. But CA has two cities in the top 10, so it's the worst state. Surprisingly, Atlanta was not on the top 10. It was probably 11.

#1 is LA and #7 is San Francisco-Oakland

I had to drive around Shakeytown today and it has only been a little over a year since I've been out here to Nazifornia but the roads have gotten worse!?! Took I10 WB-hwy 57 NB-I210 WB-I5 NB over the mtn. pass. About a 200 mile stretch of highway and it beat the crap out of me and my truck! It was like driving 60mph over railroad tracks. I had stuff spilling out from my bunk into the front of the cab, my Sirius radio falling off the windshield mount, mapbooks all over the floor, etc...:biggrin_25513:
The only good news was all the scales were closed today. TGISunday:biggrin_25514:
