it's an extension. from the shorter one most likely already screwed into the antenna.
i never bought a wilson that had one...that must be a "new" piece they stared putting in there -
Can you explain what this means? Tnx.
-
I actually found the answer... I just need a short coax cable which I'll plug the microphone into and then the other end goes into the swf meter kind of silly I did not know that at first
-
that's strange, my SWR meter, i needed a coax to go from the back of the CB,(the antenna connection) INTO the SWR meter, and out from there, into the antenna.craig_sez Thanks this.

I'm beginning to think he has one of those Midland radios that all the controls are built into the michrophone maybe? Or he has a Midland hand held radio that uses a separate cable to hook up an external antenna, I bet that's it.buddyd157 Thanks this.

Okay, what radio is this that have?
-
if so, i had 2, (different brands) and hated each one...i was a slow learner after the first....

He bought a swr meter that you use to set your swr. It just to set or check. I would leave it hooked up. I believe this is what he talking about

Ya I finally figured it out that he left the word "meter" off his original post. Still not sure how or why you would hook a mic to coax. But he said he figured it out, so it doesn't matter.Dadetrucking305 Thanks this.
