It's not a case of not liking them. A tanker spun out in front of me last week on super singles, pulling a hill. I walked around him on duals like it was summer time.
I've seen guys struggle to hook up in the yard to a trailer. Had to use the loader to scrape before the truck could hook.
Not looking to argue, I don't see how they have the same traction as duals
What's This Trailer Worth?

Having been to steel mills and mountain top construction sites and all sorts in between. They have worked for me. Some report problems with wide singles. Like the items you mention. I have not seen these things happen.
My experience with them has been positive.stwik, MACK E-6, spyder7723 and 2 others Thank this. -

Mine typically has 24-26, so it doesn’t work for me either, but it’s a sappy song no matter how many wheels she sings about.
I know a guy in her band & I don’t know how he doesn’t want to slit his wrist, having to listen to that song night after night. -
DSK333 Thanks this.

If it can haul freight today it's worth at least 11,000.

Considering this one next. 99 Raven aluminum 48x102. Some repairs have been made to the frame and frankly, I don't know much about these things. How reliable is an aluminum trailer after it's been welded?
Looks like the crossmember and frame have been repaired here.
A plate has been welded inside the frame rail here.
