It's all about fuel mileage.
Slower generally saves fuel and at the cost at the pump today...lot's of people are slowing down.
Get use to it...it's becomming more common every day. -
20 years and you don't know why they do it? ehh.....
Zangief, NYROADIE, Jackofalltrades1977 and 2 others Thank this. -
Exactly what I was thinking... -
They do that the same reason they pay newbies $.28 a mile and run trainees as codrivers for $300 a week - so they can compete with other BFI's with bottom feeder rates.
mizdageeragn, sevenmph, Les2 and 2 others Thank this. -
It's stupid and dangerous.. It should be illeagal to govern any vehicle slower than interstate speed limits..
Wiseguywireless, Daniel.trawick, str8rida and 14 others Thank this. -
Reduce the truck speed,
and
lower the drivers wages !!
Companies gotta make up for the crappy rates they're accepting !! -
My truck is governed at 62 mph and the only thing I pass is 25 year old Buicks with blue haired little old ladies driving them.
-
Say hello to mom for me as you pass her!
Southpaw7391 Thanks this.
