I used to wear full fingered buike riding gloves, it made my hands more comfortable, and I didn't give a s%^& what people said. Now, I didn't wear them anywhere but behind the wheel.....

I think the ones that walk around with their pants at their knees, now THAT needs to be fixed.

Yeah but the police tend to get all pissy when we shoot them.

I must say this is a most interesting thread.. I used to wear those gloves when i was 16 liveing down in VA had the wallet also. sorry no vest. haven't had much use for em since but have thought about a pair lately.

    1. helps to absorb recoil from magnum loads and +p+ ammo
    2. as allready mentioned can eat snacks while wearing.
    3. handy for protecting palms and nuckeles while still provideing sensitivety in fingers for delicate work ( ie picking nose lol )

Just a side story NOT RELATED TO GLOVES
I once was asked to meet some friends at a goth club. I was wearing jeans and a LOUD HAWAIN shirt. this guy in chaps and a thong :biggrin_25524: asked me if i was in the right place. I explained that all the people here looked the same guys long hair poet shirts and black or leather jeans. girls in tiny black mini dresses.

I told him they dress this way to stand out to be set apart from the NORMAL crowd and to intimidate jerks.
then I let him know that PUNK was not a fashion statement but a state of mind. and takeing that in to account I was the most punk ##### person here.

he saide yea you are in the right place and walked away.

If it works and you like it or have a use for it WHO CARES. be comfortable in your own skin

Don't get me started on those pants lol . how geto handmedowns became a fashion craze is way beyond me.:biggrin_2551: lol

I wore padded fingerless gloves when I drove those old COE's.

It sure helped cut down the vibration. Also when doing backing manuveurs.

When working flatbed, you definitely want some good full finger work gloves.
