As of right now it's my back up plan if the current gig goes sour,......The head rack will come off and it will get a new 5th wheel and I will have to put it on somewhere and live in the #### thing,....

Scud I think your expenses per mile are probably about $1 a mile low. Car haulers are expensive! Expensive to buy, expensive to maintain, expensive to insure and expensive to operate.
I believe your 6 mpg is very pie in the sky. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Look in my profile pics for my rig. I could get 5.2 to 5.8 on a good day. Nobody I've ever talked to with a 10 pack gets over that. Like Fish said it'll very likely be much lower.
Oh and Fish you didn't loose every thing. You still have your truck.I don't.
I don't believe that now is the time for a rookie O/O to be getting into this biz. I'm all about being your own man, but I hate to see failure, in you or me. -
