I hauled glass otr. It's a lot of hours and not much money. Also can you lift a hundred pound tarp on your shoulder up a ladder? Any issues with heights? You will have to walk on top of the stoce

local ,humping cases and then a 2hr drive every day?

    nope.

12-14 hr day +2hr drive time= 14-16 hr day or more.

leaves you 8hrs to eat , relax and sleep.

did it once and it finally wore me down.

I have said it before on this forum. Trucking is NOT a one size fits all business. Everybody's situation is different. I have done regional OTR, Walmart Dedicated, Local Beverage and Long Haul OTR. I PREFER Long haul OTR out for 10- 12 weeks, home for 12-14 days. MY PREFERENCE! Not for everyone. IMO, local beverage, home daily, sucked worse than ANY s#!++y job I ever held in my 60 years on this planet. Other guys have done it for 20-30 years and would do nothing else. Good luck.

“Large car” typically is indicative of a pete 379/359 or W900, neither of those companies have large cars.

Most of the people around her call a semi or rig or what ever else a large car without considering the make and model so I'm just use to that I guess.
