it just has to include the two 1-5am periods, so it will end 5am on sunday morning, so technically it actually started at 1900, that would make it 34 hrs. the reset is complete once it hits 5am so you're all set... its certain situations that are making you take longer than a 34 that people are unhappy about, more so when you are on the road since once you are actually stopped for 34 hrs you wanna get going. if you're at home you're there for 48 hrs so you dont really care.

so if you started your reset any time after 1am you're pretty much stuck doing a 48. the part that i think is confusing is the 168 hours between... but then it also says from the beginning of the previous restart, so if it works the way it reads is once you finished a restart, say 5am on sunday when yours would be over... now you'd only need 134 hrs before you could do your next one, which would bring you back to friday evening. either way being home for 48 hrs on the weekends should give you the 2 1-5am periods and any other hours you'd need to complete a reset

    Dark_Majesty_06 Thanks this.

getting loaded up in gainesville, TX then heading home to CO. IDC seems to be getting into recruiting out of denver a little more... I saw an ad yesterday for a dedicated from loveland to grand junction, left a message and got a call this morning and found out it was with IDC lol, they also have postings for regional and a local position

Well, lots of running around today. Turns out, all i did was a bunch of empty moves. Went for Kc,mo to emporia,ks to drop my mt. bobtailed back to the rail yard in kc, ks. Picked a mt up and headed to jcp to drop it.. and finally hooked at jcp to a load home. Im supposed to deliver to columbus oh monday but i wont be happening. I think either my clutch brake went out on me or it somehow got grossly out of adjustment in a short period of time. I stop and push my clutch to the "work" phase and it just grinds going into gear.. bad grinds. Clutch brake is non existent.. So im contacting break down in the morning and seein if they want me to take it to freightliner in town.
I finished the week with about 2275 miles, 6 dock bump pay, some local pay and detention.. so hopefully i can get some money rolling in after my truck is fixed. I just hope i can keep it.. i love my big cascadia and dont think i could live if they put me in a small cascadia.

Thanks! I was only here about 6 weeks but then I started feeling under the weather. Went home and went and to get checked for gall stones and they found a very aggressive cancer that started in my throat and had moved to my liver. Already gone thru one round of chemo with 2 more to go. The company was pretty cool about it, thank goodness for getting health care so fast otherwise I would have been in a world of hurt. Everyone, if you don't feel well, please go get get yourself checked out, this life we lead can be brutal on out health.

Im just happy you have it taken care of! Cancer is a horrible thing.. I wish you a speedy recovery and I will keep you in my prayers. I honestly mean this, if you or your family need anything let me know. I will help any way I can. We have 2 family members battleing cancer and know what kind of fincial and physical tolls it can take on a person

nah the truck shuts off after a few minutes... when i had a pete with my last company we could bypass that anti idle feature by putting the truck in cruise control, that doesn't seem to work on the freightliners, or not on mine anyway

hope you get well soon blackladder and hope everything works out
