Odd too.... I'm sitting at Tacoma without a load for the past 2 days... I could have easily gone and relayed that.

from vegas to salt lake city... and once again they tried to give me a load heading west which i turned down and told them unless its going to denver i dont want it. I don't understand why its so hard, especially when your business it getting things to a certain location at a specified time and date, that they cant do it for the drivers. i'm one days trip from denver, so it shouldn't be that hard, and they have a week to get me to lebanon to turn this truck in, or I will just dead head there and drop the keys off at the shop

well my friends, tomorrow is my last day with the company
Hauling butt from UT to TN tomorrow to drop this load, then heading to lebanon to turn the truck in. taking a week off in NY then heading back to Denver to start with the new company
someone did quite a number on one of the trucks, in Denver theres a tractor/trailer that looked like a bridge fell on it... thought maybe it hit an overpass but the tractor was all in pieces as well

Well blue, Good luck to you! It looks as though ill be taking a bow of absence as well.. Been off two week due to my wife and finding out my wife's grandmother has brain cancer.. its just a little too much for us at the moment. So I think its time to finally just say goodbye to trucking and go work someplace where "detention" and "layover" aren't even in the vocabulary. It will be nice not having to hope to get home but just simply clock out and drive home.

I hear ya... I know you've had a pretty bumpy start with all the stuff going on at home, hope everything works itself out
sitting at the lebanon terminal, turning the truck in first thing in the morning then heading straight to the airport, thought my flight was at noon but looks like its at 930 >.<
taking a week off in NY then back to Denver to start with McLane
