Friend of mine just called me. He said that the State Patrol is checking trucks for chain installation on the Siskiyou. He said they made him chain up all 4 drives and 2 on the trailer

 

I've only chained up once, but thats what I did, since it was my first time i used all the chains lol

 

I never chained once in three winters at May. Had one student chain last winter in Meachem, OR. That was it.

Next year, I have three weeks paid vacation coming. I'm already planning on an extended 5 weeks off. Probably gonna start it around Christmas through January.

 

after that long I would forget i had a job and not go back lol

 

Have you suggested to them a Denver terminal yet?

Loaded with cervaza for monday morning in Poulsbo, WA. Will be home for the weekend, then it looks like an abbreviated week with new years eve and day.

I'm only on pace for a little over 10k miles for the month. But hey, I can't complain too much because I will have been home 13 nights in December as well. Plus, I haven't had to chain once this winter LOL.
