Mine has the same "crappy set up".I've replaced EVERY part of the mounting system and it sux worse than the worn out original parts.I've got the entire setup off the back of a T-800 With the 4-foot channel that mounts to the frame and completely eliminates all of the contact at the cab.I priced it new at the dealer $1700.00 american, and I had to supply the bolts.my local big truck scrap yard had plenty of pieces to pick from.Check your local scrap yards, I'm in the process of repainting them but I've got 1700.00 worth of brackets for 250.00 including paint. If you figure my time at standard shop rate,(100.00hr around here)I'll still get it done for 700.00 or less.Make sure your sitting down when you price that fancy elbow that comes up thru the frame.

You're not telling me anything I don't know about the elbows, both of mine were cracked, leaking, rusted, and busted. I replaced both of them long ago. What's pathetic is my stacks are Chinese and the chrome is of a much higher quality than those American made elbows, imagine that. I've replaced everything about the exhaust except for that one Y pipe that splits into the mufflers. It's held together a million miles like it is, not the best of designs, but it can or will hold together another million. I'm exhausted dealing with the exhaust - especially after I got the bill on those elbows LoL.

Dual flat tops with rain caps look so cool when the caps lift and the cloud of black smoke comes rolling out. Can't beat it!
