I have a Freightliner that has the really short lug studs on the front axle. None of the screw on style covers will work and I hate those pop in caps on the center of the wheel.
Only ones I've found that work are these: https://www.iowa80.com/DirectionsWE...zOJuCVYePlRYcoDuuB6hBkII30ebOqzH7caAniD8P8HAQ
The place I got them from was selling them for 60-something a piece so a better price is available. Something to consider if you can't find anything to make your current ones work.JoeF2002 Thanks this. -
Not the ones I've reached out to. Tried almost 20 in my region so far. Either too small of a job of they just can't do it.

Yes I thought about the magnet thing. The wheel studs are the only magnetic part of the entire wheel area. I don't think I'd find magnets powerful enough (and yet small enough) to keep a grip on that small of an area

All you gotta do is tell him the specs and he will make them and ship them to you

Appreciate the tip. Does he have a business website I could review?

He's an old retired guy that has a machine shop in his garage behind his house and he just does it for entertainment to keep himself from going senile.

I know it's not what you are asking for exactly, but would a bracket like this be useful?

It basically is a bracket the mounts the the hub bolts for an aero kit for tires.
