I would have hit the walls even if I were standing on my own two feet backing in to take a dump. All kidding aside, that was a fantastic job!!!

When I need to back into a tight space, I'll set up my DOT triangles by the obstacle I'm trying to maneuver around. If I place my tandems close enough to the triangles without crushing them, I know I'm clear of obstacles. This also helps with blind-side backing. Plus, it never hurts to use GOAL.

try the caves at Independence Mo. pillars everywhere. extremely tight to back and so confusing to get back out as you might go around the wrong pillar.

I did a DSD to a Pathmark in Newark NJ one Saturday. I had my cabover at the time, which is why I got this wonderful load. It took me over 30 minutes to wiggle my way around fence poles, past a drop trailer and into the dock. The kicker was, it took me longer to get out of the hole than it did to get in. THAT is the definition of tight. I DO NOT miss grocery store DSDs to Shop Rite and Pathmarks in NJ and NY.

anyone ever load out of norboard in cordele, ga? tell me flatbedders cant back a trailer. 45x96 hole, you cant see in most of the time and a huge hump that you have to lock your power divers in to finish.
Georgia pacific in marietta georgia is the same way. hole designed for a 45x96 flatbed and sticking a 102 in there....1-2 inches on each side and sometimes you cant see in the building with your mirrors -
Kroger Distribution in Cinncinati has less then 6" with open doors on both sides...You have to back in from a completely straight on positioning, any angle and you'll hit something...I think it was built for horse and buggies...
