When do truck stop shower credits expire? (I'll post a list)

yah, we're getting hosed on this shower deal. (no pun intended) We used to get little coupons, most everybody had 5 or 6 of them for every chain at all times. If you came up short you could ask any other driver and get one. Some of the truckstops even gave you a free meal with fill up, does anybody still do that ? Probably not, since all the companies negotiate the cheapest fuel prices and the truckstops can't even afford decent parking lots anymore.

 

Best Ive come across so far as food and fill-ups is the TA in Terrell, TX gave me a 20% off coupon for the buffet when I filled. She gave me two, actually, and they dont expire. Used one that night and holding on to the other.

What is a Monthly Reward Level? When you use your Pilot Flying J loyalty member card while purchasing fuel, your purchases are automatically tracked. If you purchase over 500 gallons in any calendar month, you qualify for Reward Level 2. That means the following month all showers you earn will have a 7 day expiration and you will receive special Reward Level 2 offers throughout the month. If you purchase over 1,000 gallons in any calendar month, you will qualify for Reward Level 3. That means the following month all showers you earn will have a 10 day expiration and you will receive special Reward Level 3 offers throughout the month. Your member card must be registered to qualify for Reward Levels 2 & 3 offers.

I have been level 3 ever since they started this program. Sounds like the location that told you this was mis informing you.

You can judge by their credits if not smell.

0 credits- On track and smell like a spring rain
1 credit- Still not bad but starting to get the pillow head
2 credits- Starting to look like the Fonz with that greased back hair look.
3 credits- The funk is setting in with the smell of what will take more than bleach to get out.
4 credits- People start taking detours around you while curling their nose. In the summer you make friends with flies!

 

I currently have 10 showers on my TA card....

they kinda build up when they dont expire and you get 3 a day for getting shop work done twice..lol

 

Have 1 on my pilot card. Slept at a loves last night and paid cash for the shower. I don't care if I have points or not. Hygiene has no price limit

 

now half the Pilot/FJ's are remodeling and don't have working showerslast 2 I stopped at, even I don't like my bedhead now

 

loves will be remodeling theirs soon when they switch over to the electronic system like everywhere else. that mixed with most loves only have 3 or 4.....yikes.

 

Half? So over 300 out of 600+ locations are in the middle of a remodel?

I just did 1800 miles to Califorina, and stopped everyday at pfj along i80 from IN to CA and none had remodling going on. They have either done it, or will be doing it soon.
