Thanks... I am going to TRY to delay this deal until November. the first test involves three days stay in the hospital to do some tests... might as well do it when it's a little slow and I can stay around for the holidays.
I'm not sure if I can hold out that long.

As a senior citizen was driving down the freeway, his car phone rang.
Answering, he heard his wife's voice urgently warning him,
"Herman, I just heard on the news that there's a car going the wrong way on Interstate 77.
Please be careful!"
"Heck",said Herman,
"It's not just one car. It's hundreds of them!" -
Hey....The goal here is to make it to retirement still vertical....
There's no big award for shifting gears and holding the wheel when you are in your 70's....
At 60...I'm done....Not by choice...Well my choice....It's effing CARB...They made that decision....In '20...I will hang up the keys...I won't be buying another rig...
I suppose I'm luckier than most....I planned out my retirement in my late 20's....
Mutual funds, rental properties, and both my wife and I have pensions from when we worked for major companies....
To you young hands here....Tomorrow will come faster than you think....You are never too young to plan for your retirement....Wargames Thanks this. -

That's why I started a dump truck biz....to get out of the crap that caused it in the first place....Climbing in and out of excavations......Carrying 3" X 12" and 8" X 8" timbers for shoring.....Staying awake for 36 hours straight on leaks and damages......Money was good...But it sure takes it toll...Wargames Thanks this. -
I just went to the doc. last week, had a MRI and the exact thing is happening to my knees. In the late 70`s I got a job delivering Hammermill Paper, Till one day my back went out. Delivered a Engine Block one time, and (No Offence to Aisians) but this little 110 lb guy comes out. I help you, he says. I hold one side, you hold the other. Looked at him, said, not a chance bud. I pulled the crate to the end, pulled it half way off the truck, leaned into it, and slowly brought it down, to about a foot off the ground, and dropped it on the end of the skid, so the block was not hitting the ground. For sure he would have let it go on my foot. LOL

I just got back in the truck after 7 1/2 years behind a desk as a computer tech. I put on a lot of weight sitting behind that desk. A LOT of weight. Yesterday was my first day back in trucking and I'm feeling it today. I just turned 44 and there's no good reason to hurt like I do except for not taking better care of myself over the years.
