What about the rest of your day,how can u certify say getting fuel or posttrip when you haven't done neither but yet you signed saying you did?

Same with getting bills don't you sign those at the end of loading and unloading?Mostly everything is signed at the end.

Your clock never changes. It should be the time of your home terminal. I suggest you read 395.8 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

I ran a manual clock in the truck that did not change time with the time zones and labeled it Yard Time. I ran my log books off that clock.

Brian991219 shows the correct answer. As long as you go by the FMCSA guidelines you are legal. I don't know why we have 400 difference answers when the guidelines states it clearly enough.brian991219 Thanks this.

I didn't mean my log clock, I meant my clock on my phone, I didn't have a dash or radio clock in the truck when I made that mistake, no factory radio in the truck.
