`For the record, if you do not know the answer to a test question, SKIP that question. The test will end when you have answered or the questions OR when you get 80% of the questions correct. So if a test has 30 questions, you could skip 6 questions and if you got the other 24 correct; you would pass the test. All 6 questions you skipped would never come up again.

My best advice is IF you do not know the answer : SKIP that question. There are two ways the test ends. 1. you answer all the questions. 2.you answered 80% of test questions correctly. For example a 30- question test will end as soon as you get 80% correct. That means you could skip 6 questions and as long as you got the other 24 correct - you would pass. The questions you skipped would not com up again. BUT if you do not have 80% correct, then the questions you skipped will come up again and you need to get some or all of them correct to pass.

When I went to school it automatically ended the test when I had scored high enough that completely missing the rest couldn't affect the outcome of the test. So if it was 80% and I think it may have been lower. It automatically would end once I scored 80%. Its dirt simple. Just take a minute to read the question. You'll be fine.

If it is on paper you can always go back to it later.
And some other question later in the test might just help with that question you skipped earlier.
If it is digital, does it allow you to go back at the end to a question you skipped?
If you don't know, you should find out.
Not from opinions here, but from the place that administers the test. -
Hopeful Eyes, I hope you won't be in this state of anxiety after you get through this test.
Anxiety is not a good trait for a truck driver to have.
You need to be calm and decisive while driving that rig.
Lives depend on it.firemedic2816 Thanks this. -
One thing to watch for is how they word the question. Sometimes if you just glance over it quickly you’re sure you know the answer, but watch the wording cause sometimes it can be different than you think at first glance. I passed fairly easily my first time and the people acted surprised. I’m not that smart, but my wife asked me the questions over and over till I knew them. I’ve only had up to 8th grade education so if I can do it you can.
