You are welcome. There are brokers who have freight in your area. Much of what I have seen in New England that has a decent rate stays in the region. If you decide to pursue other types of freight you should be able to stay in the Northeast and New England. It does take time to establish contacts. Most people who go into New England want to come right back out. If you want to stay in New England there should be freight for you to haul. You will need a trailer. I have been pulling open deck trailers for a number of years, so I am not as familiar with what may be available with vans or reefers if you want to stay regional. Reefers can keep you busy running up and down I-95. Without having securement experience or training it would probably be easier to start with a van or reefer.
