Has anyone seen the new bid online crapon ITS. It looks like it's that uship crap. Pisses me off. Paying for a load bard to get real loads not their junk.
MNdriver, BAYOU, dannythetrucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
Had a couple of them pop up that way.
Looks like I'll be finding a new load board. -
I leased to a company running a dry van coast to coast. Their trailer and tag and insurance. I did it for a few months and figured I was getting about $1.20/mile, so I quit. I didn't realize I was getting the big bucks. It's been 3 months. I wonder what those loads are paying now.

Why would anyone with more than two brain cells ever move that crap? I hope you told that broker to shove it Snowwy and pointed that truck west. Do you have any idea how many pick up points you cross on the way to Cali from NY? I never, ever, ever go to Cali from the east coast for less than $4 per mile. I do it all the time without any effort at all. I never understood these guys that are afraid to drive more than 50 miles to get a load going cross country. They get in a mind set that you pick up the nearest load and you drive and don't stop until you deliver it. I pick up a main load and do drops and LTL picks all along the way. Guys, this stuff is not rocket science, its basic math and common sense. I never, ever haul a straight single load across country. By the time I reach Cali I have at least 6 or more freight bills to invoice for 6 days worth of work. The trick is to never accept a load that maxes out your weight or takes all your deck space. As far as I am concerned I do not even see those loads on the board. My minimum quote to a broker on a load like that is $4 per mile long haul and $8 per mile short haul. Its so so easy to hang up the phone when and if they say no. I just did a short little hop from Dallas to Seattle, cleared 4 freight bills at $4.75 per mile and it took me 4 days. Cleared 3 freight bills coming back to Dallas for 2.75 per mile. All in all made $10,475 profit for 8 days of work. I do this all the time as a regular course of business. You have to make lemonade when you have lemons. The east coast is a great place to be. It means you can drive clear across the country from where you are. Just pick up that first piece and point it west, picking and dropping all along the way and do not be afraid to dead head to get your main load, it all comes out in the wash.camaro68 Thanks this.

You know your in trouble when the broker answers the phone with "No habla"

Im calling ITS to tell them this is crap.u ship must be hurting....people are finally realizing the OUTRAGEOUS cut uship takes, its worse than most brokers. If i want to look for a load on uship i would go to u ship.....if no body ever bids on these that are posted thru ITS they will stop posting with zero success, I dont even click on them......let them rot on the board!!
-
I was wondering if this was happening. Those .30 per mile loads you see are either a bad joke or Uship. If its Uship then ITS has some explaining to do.
-
i noticed the uship crap on ITS too. tomorow i am cancelling my subscription to them. using the membersedge site anyway.

I'm at .97cents for all miles and I'm happy
SHC Thanks this.
