    That I understand, but what I am saying is that maybe you would have been better off taking that DH to Vegas and ran a couple more local runs? In the end, you prob would have come close to making the exact same amount of money, not had as much wear and tear and your truck, and also might have helped out a local guy where u picked up that brick from. See, by taking that load out of there for cheap just set the rate for guys who live in that area, which hurts them. You always have to remember that any load you take is always somebody's home area freight.

    re-read his post. I thought he said 3 a mile and they pay permits...and that was assuming not over gross. after rereading your right that was stupid...
