Any LTL company will have a certain amount of Big Corporate nonsense, but in my experience, it's worth it for the pay, benefits and working conditions.

Is your company a local only or regional? What experience is required?

Definitely gonna have to do something else soon. I just want to stay on some sort of dedicated lane and have minimal surprises to deal with. The current foodgrade place seems to just be pushing me out the door. Went from local, to NM-TX-CO regional, and now the main dispatcher(whom I've had trouble with in the past at a different office) is pushing the irregular, gone weeks at a time, nonsense. Some drivers like that variety, I end up going rabid when thrown into a different jam every week.
So definitely, I'm ready to jump. Cleaning the apartment and decluttering/cutting down on possessions to make moves a breeze. -
I don't know what's out there.
But maybe bio fuel companies.
I worked for one that has heated trailers. I don't know where the trailers are at currently. Haven't seen the boys around lately. -
