@ home . Taking care of my garden and doing house chores. It's actually enjoyable to do laundry and grocery shopping and cleaning now that I'm home! I'm home by myself all day as the GF is back at university.
I went up to my truck yesterday and pulled out the satellite system and returned that to the company along with the permit book and other odds and ends that go along with signing off. Left on excellent terms and had a good talk with the owner and staff before leaving the shop. Was a bit sad to go as its an awesome company to haul for but wasn't much else could be done under the circumstances.
Going away camping this weekend to Kenora Ontario. Should he fun, drink some beer and go boating.
Gets a bit quiet around the house during the day but I'm keeping busy with things to do. Going to go join the local gym next week and start trying to get fit. Was thinking of going to the local community adult education centre to take some free courses to get my GED certificate while I'm not working. Not much else to do really! It's funny how when on the road I think of all the things I could be doing but now I'm home I don't know what to do!!

Easy day today. So far, just a load of midds to Madison and then go pick up the truck and trailer I dropped at that farm yesterday.

Sure glad I'm not paid by the mile anymore. 12.5 hours yesterday and only 167 miles.

12.5 hours ?? Who taught you ta' log ? Time ta' get a sharper pencil Zen. According to the way I was taught 167 miles always = 2.5 hours ! Oh, I see........your keyboard musta thrown that 1 in front of your real, correct answer. Tricky keyboard.

Been home a week today. Was going to leave for Texas today, got my truck ready last night but boss called this morning and guess I have been leased to a company hauling propane. Got to go to Nebraska Monday and take drug test. Nervous about propane but will be home every other day if not everyday.
