Where are you

I appreciate the concern. No, just busy running and only dragging out my laptop on rare occasions. Next phone I get is going to be larger and more Pack-friendly. My present one is OK, but just isn't as convenient as it could be when it comes to posting and such.

So....who's changed companies since last we spoke? I'm staying put after all the gnashing of teeth. I figure I've got two, maybe three more OTR years. Not worth changing unless things take a turn for the worse here at Crete. Of late, though, I've been running well....go to two weeks of vacation next year, get home on time, good equipment....gotta quit over-thinking this stuff as I am so often apt to do.

 

After thinking I was all accepted at Abilene
I was in Roanoke so stopped by met the bosses and the owners
Curtis one of the brothers called 3 days later
says I am sorry Pete I just don't think you would be a good fit for us
I says what does that politically correct statement mean
he says thats all i can tell you............sigh

 

Well, dang. That sucks. Sorry to hear of it. Got an alternate plan or just gonna ride it out at TA?

@ home . Going down to play some tennis with the girl then out to see "Pain and Gain" at the movies then out for a few beers and a late supper at the pub. Good times!

The tennis game was fun. I really need to get back into better shape!
Now it's off to the cinema! I haven't been to the cinema in a long time so it will be good to see a movie on the big screen .
